Caleb | January 26, 2008 |
|

Here is Caleb. At only a year old, he has already mastered the art
of walking AND running. This was one of the few times I caught him
sitting still. He was a very active and happy little kid.

Jenna | January 26, 2008 |
|

Today's shoot with Jenna went really well...much better than last
time. (Our last session ended up with a trip, and fall, and a broken
little foot.) Nothing but smiles all around this time.

Family Fun Day | January 21, 2008 |
|

We spent our MLK holiday at the Fort Worth Stock Show and had a
great time. This was totally out of the norm for our family, but the
day couldn't have been any better. We saw the cows, goats, pigs,
chickens, rabbits and much, much more. Kate wore her pink cowboy hat
and Laura got to show off her heelies...we saw several perplexed
cowboys watching her zip around. We were quite the site to behold.
We listened to some cowboy poetry and campfire songs before settling
down to watch the calf roping. We sat on the front row and the girls
got face to face with some real cowboys and their horses. It don't
get any better than this. :-)

The Ripley's | January 20, 2008 |
|

I had an opportunity to shoot my first maternity session today. The
Ripley's are expecting Hannah in just a few weeks. Big brother,
Chase, did a great job of being excited and showing off his smile.
Be watching for pictures of new little Hannah in a month or two.

Julia | January 19, 2008 |
|
Julia
was a lot of fun today. She was a smart, sweet, energetic kid that
was just a lot of fun to be around. We got some great images that I
think really captured her unique personality. I hope her mom agrees.

Andres & Karime | January 13, 2008 |
|

I had a chance to shoot my second engagement session this afternoon.
I met Andres & Karime in the Arts District in downtown Dallas and
spent a few hours getting to know them and capture some really nice
pictures. They are a really fun couple and we had a great time. I
will be shooting their wedding on July 5th. Watch for Karime's
bridals to be posted in March.

The Gelber Family | January 5, 2008 |
|

I have known the Gelbers for quite some time. Stephanie is an
Instructional Technology Coordinator whom I have worked with since
moving to Irving. I had the great fortune to have Rachel in one of
my Web Mastering classes while I was teaching at Irving High School.
I remember at the time hoping that Laura and Kate would grow up to
be as fun, responsible and easy-going as Rachel was. After spending
some time with their family yesterday, I was reminded again at what
great young people Rachel and Austin are. Wonderful family. Great
kids.

First Shoot of 2008: Five Really Cute Kids | January 4, 2008 |
|

Of these five cuties, two of them belong to Karri, a good friend
that teaches across the hall from me. As you can probably tell by
looking, these six cousins really know how to have a good time when
they get together! They did great as we trekked across the Gaylord
Texan this afternoon. This is the
line-them-up-against-the-wall-and-shoot approach. I thought it
turned out kind of cool. Their individual pictures (click
here) turned out very nice as well.

Last Photos of 2007: Hunter and Rachel | December 29, 2007 |
|

I spent some time with my nephew Hunter and his girlfriend Rachel
this afternoon getting some pictures for them. We shot out at an old
abandoned work truck on the family farm. I really like how they turned out. It looks
like this is my last official shoot of 2007. Its been an awesome year
for my photography, and 2008 looks even better. What an exciting
time!
