I've set the Week 30 Status Check to be due today, March 28. Please try to get that done as soon as possible. If you need until Friday to get this done, I'll understand.

Remember, this six weeks ends on Thursday, April 5. You need 1,000 points for a 100% this six weeks.


The Week 30 Critical Analysis is due on Friday, March 30. That will be the last critical analysis, even though our six weeks term isn't over until next week. You won't have a Critical Analysis to do next week. Next week, March 12-16 is Spring Break at Guthrie CSD, so things might get a little slow with those students. If you need help, you can always contact me. Enjoy the spring weather, the coming time change and get out there and take some photos!

As you look through the list of assignments you'll notice that 4.02 through 5.09 are portfolio projects. These portfolios are very specific and don't necessarily follow any particular sequence. You can tackle those in any particular order that you want. I realize that some of these may present a challenge for you, based on where you live and what you have access to. You DO NOT have to complete every one of these assignments. Just keep an eye on your point totals for the next three weeks and keep up. 

Choose the portfolios you are most interested in first and build from there. Be creative and let me know if you get stuck. 

Also, let me know if any particular assignment presents a big problem for you. Someone mentioned that it was going to be difficult for them to find four different people to shoot for 4.02 Portrait Portfolio. Remember, you are the test pilots and the guinea pigs for the course. We can tweak the rules for any assignment as we go. As a whole, you guys rocked the 4th six weeks. The goal was 500 points, and most of you rolled right past it or just bumped it at the past minute. Either way, you did great!

The goal for the end of the 5th six weeks is 1,000 points, earned by Thursday, April 5th. 

I'd like for you to pick up where you left off last week, even if that means that you are still working on Module 4 assignments. I do want you to keep in mind that I was hoping that we would all be starting in Module 5 by now, so work with some excitement and let's keep up the momentum.  ]]>
